Releasing a Pokemon Game for smartphones would be a terrible and life-destroying event for me. Worse than getting me hooked on crack. But I’m glad that’s not going to ever happen. So happy to live in a world where you can only play pokemon on nintendo devices, none of which I own.
What? But PS9, Nintendo just released-
I SAID, YOU CAN ONLY PLAY POKEMON ON NINTENDO CONSOLES AND NOWHERE ELSE

Or, OR, we can all be adults and not play children’s games on our phones.
You know, because pretty much all of us are adults.

My phone is only a year and a half “out of date” and somehow it’s incompatible.

“Critics who treat ‘adult’ as a term of approval, instead of as a merely descriptive term, cannot be adult themselves. To be concerned about being grown up, to admire the grown up because it is grown up, to blush at the suspicion of being childish; these things are the marks of childhood and adolescence. And in childhood and adolescence they are, in moderation, healthy symptoms. Young things ought to want to grow. But to carry on into middle life or even into early manhood this concern about being adult is a mark of really arrested development. When I was ten, I read fairy tales in secret and would have been ashamed if I had been found doing so. Now that I am fifty I read them openly. When I became a man I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up.”

Was just at a local state park and was amazed by A: the number of people there than normal, B: the number of people glued to their phones and stopping every 30 feet, C: the number of people hovering around Lure Module points, D: the number of people that look like walking or anything done outside is a rarity. Not to knock them, in fact Im glad theyre out and getting exercise so kudos to Nintendo on this one.

For once I’m so glad I’m missing out on an app because of WM. My life would be done if I could play that thing.

I’m currently thinking about getting a cheap 4G data plan to be able to play this game outside. SHOULD I?
